About Us -We will care for your pets as we do for ours
Introducing Carla and Al Wilmer, residing just 7 miles east of Parker, CO.

Carla, a tested and CERTIFIED National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) member and a Pet Sitters International (PSI) member,  has enjoyed training dogs for 15 years.  She began her career in St. Louis at a premier kennel facility which offered training, boarding, day care, Invisible Fence installation/training, agility, fly ball and a retail shop with "everything dog".  Recently, she has expanded her services to include pet sitting.  Although she competes in conformation and obedience, all dogs who come to join the family/pack do so as loving companions; they give us so much more than we can ever return.

Al
loved his pets as a child and enjoys ours (as you can see in the photo).  He continues to learn training techniques from Carla as he assists with pet sitting.  He also contributes as project manager for design and maintenance of this website (send him your suggestions).

We are Bonded and Insured and look forward to serving you and your Pets.

"To whom it my concern: Myself as well as my husband Ron have used Al and Carla Wilmer for the training, in-home pet-sitting, also as well as boarding of our precious pets.  When we moved from the Colorado area, it took many months of searching to find the quality of care that our animals have received from them.

We rescued Jack, a one eyed very abused German Shepard (ex-guard dog, mean and wild!).  When I finally brought him home, I just couldn't let him die where he was, I realized that this job was too big for me.  I called Carla, she came over and brought a 'toy', a clicker and some treats.  She sat on the floor of the garage and in her "dog whisperer" voice, began to calm Jack.  By the time she left not only did she calm my baby, she also taught me how to work with Jack. She is AMAZING!!  By the way, Jack went from 38lbs. and 4yrs old to 90lbs and 10 yrs old, I couldn't have done it without the Wilmers.  Al Wilmer would watch our 3 dogs when my husband and I would leave town also.  He would stay at our home or take them back and forth to their property (he said so the puppies wouldn't get board, ha!).  We never had to worry about our animals when the Wilmers were in charge.  If I had to say anything, I would have to say that our pets miss them.

We also have two black Pomeranians.  Porsha and Paris.  When we were out of town, the Wilmers would e-mail us pix of our kids enjoying life.  In closing, I wish we could clone the Wilmers for every animal on this planet for the love and caring that they have to give.  It would be a better place.

Regards, Ron and Hannah"

"Carla - Thank you so much for keeping our "baby" Max while we were out of town.  We had never left him before and were a bit nervous. He was perfectly happy and well cared for the entire week.  I would definitely use your services the next time we are vacationing.

Thanks again - Nancy "

"Carla Wilmer has been involved with my Great Pyrenees since they were 10 weeks old as their friend and trainer.  I wanted her to train them the way they live on my farm---off leash.  The first training session here at my farm was, at my request, boundary training so they would learn to stop and wait at the gates to the horse barn and pastures.  Carla had both dogs 'waiting' at the gate in about 12 minutes.  They learned the command, they learned the boundary of the gate, and it was a funny and happy experience for all of us.  No jerking the leash, no yelling at them, nothing but a loving voice delivering a clear command, a clear hand signal, and lots of praise and rewards.  Both dogs learned it that day and they've never forgotten it.  This is how they learned all their obedience commands, and they are amazingly well-behaved on and off leash.

When you have dogs who weigh in at 150 pounds, well-behaved is a must.  I wouldn't let anyone else touch/train/baby-sit my animals except Carla.  She's the only one I'd trust in my home, barn, and just knowing I could leave and she'd be here is a wonderfully reassuring thing.

" Al and Carla have taken care of several litters of puppies for me through the past few years.  They are always very conscientious and loving to the puppies and dogs.  I would highly recommend their services!!

Linda"
